Gifts & Pledges
The Gift and Pledge Program is intended for amounts of $10,000 or more. Gifts are direct donations toward the project. Pledges have been added as an additional option for those who have requested to make a pledge contingent upon the IDSDC reaching the funding level needed to commit to the construction of the IDSDC and putting a shovel in the ground. Fulfillment of pledges would be requested at that time.

Planetarium
Our 60+ seat planetarium will take guests to places they could never go on their own. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of extraordinary shows. Visit other planets, explore the universe, get a visual experience of pristine dark skies, and so much more.
Inspiration
Theater
The 150-seat theater will be a state-of-the-art venue for special presentations, lectures, documentary showings, and occasionally, great movies. It will be the only theater of its kind or size in Fountain Hills and can accommodate a variety of events.
Immersion
Zone
Guests of all ages will lose track of time when they enter our Immersion Zone. It will be filled with hands-on, interactive exhibits to give them a deeper experience with the night sky, astronomy, and the impacts of light pollution on all life on earth.
Lobby
Our lobby will be more than just a place to enter and exit. It will be filled with eye-popping exhibits and provide a unique venue for special events.
Classroom
IDSDC is focused on STEM education for all students who visit. Our classroom will be a space for hands-on activities, small group classes, and even birthday parties.
Gift Shop
The gift shop will be a unique shopping venue in Fountain Hills. Our design will allow guests to stop and shop without purchasing a ticket to the facility.
Event Patio
Outdoor events on this patio under the night sky will offer outdoor telescope viewing, catering services, and access to our Dark Sky Observatory after-hours.
Launch Crew Program
Our Launch Crew donors are a special group of people to help launch the project and get it off the ground. They turned their excitement for the International Dark Sky Discovery Center project into action by donating funds to help launch us…to get us off the ground. These donations begin at $100 and go up to $5,000 or more. There will be a special recognition display for this group
